The Black Masks are a group of ninja under the employ of Onsen Kinugawa and act under his orders. They are led by Toguro and Madara. They are highly skilled in battle.
The Black Masks can be easily encountered if you surrender in the tournament, triggering the game's fail state, in which Toguro orders you to leave the town. If you refuse, he will send the Black Masks after your head every night, until you either die or leave Amihama to end the game.
Killing 200 of them unlocks their outfit, buyable with Samurai points.
